How To Fly in 7 Days to Die (Guide)

How To Fly in 7 Days to Die

In 7 Days to Die, you can enable flying mode by following the steps below:

  • Using the F1 key, open the console
  • Then, enter the command debugmenu. And, hit enter.
  • Now, open the menu by pressing the ESC key
  • And, select the “Fly mode” checkbox

Now you can fly around.

Using Gyrocopter to Fly in 7 Days to Die

Additionally, there is another way to fly legally in 7 Days to Die. In the Grease monkey skill tree, the character can craft a flying vehicle if all perks in the skill tree have been acquired.

In the air, the Gyrocopter can be used to travel quickly around the map. But, the parts needed to build one are quite numerous. You will also need to keep track of your fuel supply.

You will also need to keep an eye on the weather. And, controls will have to be mastered after a few test flights.

It is no easy task to control a gyrocopter

Gyrocopter Controls:

W: Power up rotors
S: Power down rotors
A: Bank Left
S: Bank Right
Space: Angle Up
C: Angle down


If you wish to fly, press H, or if you wish to go into godmode, press Q. To increase speed, hold the shift key and hit the ‘+’ key. To decrease speed, hold the shift key and hit the ‘-‘ key.
The Creative Menu will be available to players if it is enabled.
  1. The Creative Menu can be accessed by pressing the U key.
  2. The Q key enables and disables God mode.
  3. Press the H key to enable or disable Flying. When flying, press Space to go up and C to go down. By holding Shift, you can fly faster
  4. Consoles don’t have Fly Mode, only PC does.
