A large wall can be climbed over by facing it. Press E to complete the action. It will take your character some time to climb over the wall. If they are exhausted, they may not be able to climb over the wall.

A small fence or railing can also be climbed over. The E key can also be used for this. When your character is in jog mode, they will automatically climb over smaller fences. The SHIFT key must be held down while moving in order to enter this mode. Sprint mode (ALT) also allows the character to jump over small fences. However, this is not recommended due to the high risk of injury.

When facing a fence or wall, press the A button on your Xbox gamepad. The X button will need to be pressed when using a DS4 controller. It is possible to scale most fences that you see in the game. A lot of the smaller fences and many of the larger ones can be scaled. A fence can be reached by pressing the E key. Take a look at them and give them a try.

Project Zomboid: Climbing Over Smaller Fences

The game generally has two types of fences. There are small fences and larger fences. Houses and yards generally have small fences outside. In order to scale these smaller fences, walk up to them and press the E key. By jogging at these fences, you can also climb over them.

You can run two different speeds in Project Zomboid, as you can read in this guide. Depending on your pace, you can either jog or sprint. The smaller fences will automatically scale as your character jogs. This method of scaling smaller fences does not pose any danger when you jog at them.

At full sprint, scaling these fences is dangerous. Jumping a fence at full sprint will likely result in your character falling on their face. It is likely that your character will be injured as a result of this. Slowing down when approaching is the best course of action. As far as a job is concerned.

Project Zomboid: Climbing Larger Fences

Project Zomboid has another type of fence. Around the world, you will often see larger fences and walls. It is also possible to scale these. A bit of risk is involved with climbing over large walls.

Often, a large wall prevents you from seeing the other side. You may end up climbing into a blind spot as a result. Make sure you know what’s on the other side of a fence that can’t be seen through before climbing over it. Another option is taking the risk because there is no other choice.

It is also possible to scale these large chain-link fences. It will be impossible for zombies to climb over them. A second opening will be needed to let them in. The player will not be able to scale some large fences. Fences with barbed wire and large iron fences are examples of fences in ‘richer’ neighborhoods.
